UNI 5588 is an Italian standard for Style 1 hexagon nuts, equivalent to DIN 934 and ISO 4032. It is a general‑purpose medium‑thickness hexagon nut widely used in industry.
• Standard number: UNI 5588 (1968 edition, currently equivalent to DIN EN 24032)
• Type: Style 1 hexagon nuts
• Thread: Metric coarse/fine pitch, tolerance 6H
• Size range: M1.6 ~ M64
◦ Grade A: d <= 16 mm, for high precision and surface finish requirements
◦ Grade B: d > 16 mm, for general mechanical structures
